The home was renovated with efficiency in mind. A ZIP System home wrap now encloses the home and closed cell insulation was used throughout. New Andersen windows were installed as well, so this home will be as tight as a modern build. Other efficiency updates are the installation of Fujitsu ductless heat and AC units and a Navien on-demand water heater. A new standing seam metal roof will last many decades. The septic was replaced this year. KWP engineered wood siding was installed as exterior cladding, so the home never needs to be painted and is very weather resistant.

Perfectly situated between Callicoon and Narrowsburg and a very quick walk to the pristine, National Parks Service managed Delaware River for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. A public park with a baseball diamond, basketball hoop, playground and tennis court is a one minute walk. One of my favorite bike rides is to cross the Cochecton bridge over the Delaware River and ride my bike on River Road to Callicoon. Cochecton Fire House slings great cocktails and excellent food, and across the street is Cochecton Sprits.
