That seclusion is evident turning up the long driveway situated off a quiet winding country road. The house comes into view as an upstate oasis, surrounded by trees and calm.

This contemporary home was built in 2008 and renovated by the current owners in 2015. Their renovation priorities were twofold: How to make a home comfortable for both daily living and welcoming for friends and family.

Entering the Great Room their success is immediately apparent. Open spaces flow into each other. The kitchen, always a focus of a dinner party, is open and the central focus of the space. Custom storage has been added and there is a large utility room for the washer/dryer and mechanicals. Also air conditioned, the room feels super comfortable throughout the year.

Trails have been created through the mostly forested 30 acres. Take long walks on the property or take out the quad. There is a babbling stream and a pond that could be expanded. There are additional trails at the 13,000 acre Boy Scout Camp nearby (soon to be made public lands).

The solar panels are leased for $55/month, so there is a negligible monthly electric bill even keeping the hot tub at temperature.

As a part of the Weiden Lake HOA, there is an annual $300 fee that allows access rights to the private and scenic lake.
