The Catskill Project
CATSKILL PROJECT: A CARBON NEUTRAL COMMUNITY
Come visit the first carbon neutral community in the Catskills and get a sneak peek at an upcoming listing with Country House Realty agents Erik Freeland and JD Gluckstern, who are looking forward to giving you a tour! Each Catskill Project home is to built Passive House standards and designed with excellence. Country House Realty will be listing Lot 1, the Red Hill model, and will be on hand to take you on a tour for a sneak peek. In addition, the Co-Founders and architect will be available to provide detail about the benefits of and processes involved in passive house building.
The Catskill Project is a 90-acre community of beautifully crafted, next generation homes that actively contribute to residents’ health and wellbeing. Each Passive House designed home meets rigorous design standards for exceptional air quality and a consistent, comfortable temperature in all seasons. As the first carbon-neutral community in the region, The Catskill Project offers its owners the added benefit of dramatically lowering heating, cooling, and home-maintenance costs, resulting in a reduced environmental footprint.
Our team is made up of uniquely qualified experts who all share the same goal: bring high-quality, high-performance carbon-neutral homes into the market for healthier living. We are developers, architects, designers, engineers, builders, tradespeople, and environmentalists who are passionate about what we do, and serious about doing it right. The Catskill Project is a proud partner of NYSERDA’s Build Better Homes Initiative.
Come meet Greg Hale and Buck Moorhead to learn about designing and building to Passive House standards.
